Learning objectives

Upon completion of the workshop, participants will be able to proficiently perform a comprehensive physical examination on the gastrointestinal (GI) system, demonstrating the correct use of inspection, palpation, percussion, and auscultation techniques.

Participants will develop an understanding of various gastro-intestinal disorders and their manifestations in physical examinations, and will acquire skills to perform focused clinical examination to detect such disorders.

Participants will be able to efficiently conduct a neurologic examination including assessment of cranial nerves, coordination, sensation, motor strength, and reflexes, with a clear understanding of the normal and pathological findings.
