1. Upon completion of the workshop, participants will be able to proficiently perform a comprehensive physical examination on the gastrointestinal (GI) system, demonstrating the correct use of inspection, palpation, percussion, and auscultation techniques. 2. Participants will develop an understanding of various gastro-intestinal disorders and their manifestations in physical examinations, and will acquire skills to perform focused clinical examination to detect such disorders. 3. Participants will be able to efficiently conduct a neurologic examination including assessment of cranial nerves, coordination, sensation, motor strength, and reflexes, with a clear understanding of the normal and pathological findings. 4. Students will be skilled in the interpretation of the findings of GI and neuro examinations and how to relate those findings with possible diagnoses. 5. Participants will be able to communicate the findings of the GI and Neuro examinations to patients in a clear and compassionate way, explaining the necessity for further tests if needed.
