1. By the end of the teaching session, learners will be able to accurately identify the different components of an arterial blood gas (ABG) result and understand their clinical relevance. 2. Learners will be able to explain the normal ranges for each component in an arterial blood gas. 3. Learners will gain the skill to interpret ABG results in the context of a patient's clinical presentation and history. 4. Learners will be able to identify and interpret various acid-base disorders through ABG results, including respiratory and metabolic acidosis and alkalosis. 5. By the end of the session, learners will demonstrate proficiency in devising clinical management plans based on ABG interpretation.
