Description

Join us for our Psychiatry OSCE skills teaching and practice session on the 13th November! We will be talking you through high-yield content for your OSCEs, focussing on: history taking (including risk assessments), MSE examination and sectioning under the Mental Health Act. This will be followed by 1h of small group OSCE practice in breakout rooms with a facilitator.

Our session content will have input from doctors working with us, and some of them might even pop into the breakout rooms to give feedback directly!

Summary

The Code Blue OSCE Crew (CBOC) serves as an online, peer-led platform dedicated to clinical OSCE skills teaching for medical students, with the added support of medical professionals. CBOC is a recognized program under the IFMSA's Activities program, specifically affiliated with SCOME's 'Teaching Medical Skills' initiative.

Our Y4 Mind & Movement sessions are conducted every few weeks via Zoom. Please note that timings may be subject to change.

Each session comprises 1h of comprehensive teaching, followed by 1h of dedicated hands-on practice within smaller breakout rooms. These sessions are open to all medical students who are currently progressing through their clinical years.

We are proudly supported by Geeky Medics, who generously support our mission and endeavors.
