To understand the core principles and methodologies associated with vascular surgery, including the study of key conditions like acute limb ischaemia, chronic critical limb ischaemia, peripheral arterial disease and venous disease. 2. To develop the ability to accurately diagnose these key conditions based on their symptoms and presentations, including the use of appropriate diagnostics tools and methods. 3. To comprehend the appropriate management techniques for these conditions, and to understand when it is necessary to escalate the patient’s care to a senior colleague. 4. To broaden knowledge about various treatment options for vascular conditions - both surgical and non-surgical- and when to apply them based on patient's condition. 5. To enhance communication skills, thereby enabling the proper exchange of vital information about the patient's condition and management plan with team members, and to also effectively address patients' concerns and queries.
