Aims: To provide the techniques required to construct models and Vacuum Formed Appliances in the Dental Practice. Objectives: At the end of the session participants should be able to: Highlight the reasons that vacuum formed appliances may be required Demonstrate techniques required to construct models and vacuum formed appliances in the dental practice List any health and safety issues pertaining to the process Learning Content: This session is intended to provide a demonstration of using prestige silicone moulds and earth stone to pour models, and then make a vacuum formed appliance over the model.
