By the end of the session, participants will be able to understand the basic concepts and principles of clinical histology and its significant role in medical diagnosis and research.

Participants will be able to describe and identify different types of tissues under a microscope and relate their structure to their function in the human body.

Participants will be able to outline the process of tissue sampling, processing, and microscopic examination used in histopathology and apply it in practical situations.

Participants will learn to interpret simple histological findings and use them as valuable tools in the diagnosis of various diseases, notably cancer.

Participants will gain an understanding of the relevance of clinical histology in the design and monitoring of therapeutic strategies, as featured in the UK Medical License Assessment (UKMLA) guide.
