This webinar will begin with an overview of the UKSAR network that provides Search and Rescue for UK region in maritime, mountainous, urban and subterranean environments, presented by Dr Paddy Morgan. Guest speakers will provide insights to the unique challenges of delivering clinical care in austere and extreme environments, and how these are overcome. Speakers include Dr Alistair Morris from Mountain Rescue England and Wales, Dr Alastair Glennie from Mountain Rescue Scotland, and Mr Darren Jones on behalf of HM Coastguard rescue helicopters provided by Bristows.

Specifically, how in these austere and extreme environments, the likely injuries and illnesses encountered determine the clinical interventions required and subsequently the challenges of delivering these interventions.
