Broaden your knowledge on Quality Improvement (QI) methodology at the TIPSQI National QI Session! Aimed primarily at F1/F2 trainees, but open to all medical professionals wanting to improve on project quality, this session provides practical tips for your upcoming QI projects. Run by TIPSQI, a North West England-based collaborative, this session showcases an understanding of QI - advantageous for ARCP and aids in creating more impactful QI projects. Attendees can look forward to a certificate of attendance and an invitation to a national QI conference offering the chance to present your work on a national platform.

TIPS QI are an educational organisation based in the North-West of England, we are a faculty of resident doctors whose aim it is to teach foundation doctors QI methodology, with the aim of upskilling all doctors to undertake QI work, and therefore improve the services that they work within. We are embedded within the foundation teaching programmes within all trusts across the North-West and Mersey deaneries, and we are looking to expand our teaching nationally.

Join us for a free, virtual evening of QI methodology on 6th January 19:00 to 20:30, and you will also receive a certificate of attendance for your portfolio.

Learning objectives

  1. To understand the principles of Quality Improvement (QI) methodology in the medical field and appreciate how it can improve patient care.
  2. To gain the ability to design, execute, and evaluate the impact of a QI project within their workplace.
