This one-hour teaching session will give Foundation Year doctors the opportunity to learn about key presentations and conditions in thoracic surgery, including shortness of breath, pneumothorax, haemothorax, and chest drain management. Taking place at the Norfolk & Norwich University Hospital (NNUH), the session will be a hybrid event with in-person attendance bundles, as well as a livestream option. There will be a Q&A session at the end.
By the end of the session, FY doctors should be able to describe the underlying causes of shortness of breath, pneumothorax, and haemothorax.
