Our panellists include:
- Dr. Amit Joshi
- Dr Joshi is the Associate Dean for Graduate Medical Education/Designated Institutional Official and Professor of Surgery at Cooper Medical School of Rowan University in Camden, NJ. He is the Editor-in-Chief of the American Board of Surgery’s (ABS) Surgical Council on Resident Education (SCORE)—which is the national curriculum for surgery. He was also the 2023-2024 President of the Association of Program Directors in Surgery. His principal research interests are resident recruitment and curricular development within surgical training. He has authored over 150 scientific manuscripts and presentations.
- Pragnesh Bhatt, Deputy Director of the Faculty of Surgical Trainers
- MS, MCh, FRCS, FEBNS, FFSTEd, Consultant Neurosurgeon. Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. Mr Pragnesh Bhatt qualified as a neurosurgeon in 1990 after training in India and the UK. Currently a consultant neurosurgeon at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, he has a particular interest in medical education and surgical training with additional commitment at the University of Aberdeen. Pragnesh also sits on the College’s Surgical Specialty Board in Neurosurgery and is a RCSEd Regional Surgical Ambassador for the North of Scotland
