We will be joined by the RCS president who will be holding a special careers event. This will involve small talks from different specialities and a chance to have a Q&A with questions you have about surgery.

2 pm - Arrival and introductions

The event will be held in the Education Centre

2.10 pm - Ken Bremner - Welcome and introduction presentation

2.25 pm - Neil Mortensen will be speaking

2.35 pm -

10 minute presentations from surgical specialties - covering developments, national audits, educational/research portfolios, trainee numbers, how diversity within surgery is being encouraged etc.

3.35-3.50 pm - Break/refreshments

3.50 pm - Panel Q&A - opportunity for students and trainees to ask questions
