Dr Patel is a consultant neonatologist and clinical innovation lead at the West Of Scotland Innovation Hub which 'stimulates, supports and sustains innovation in health and social care.' Their projects include a COVID-19 assessment app, vCreate secure video service and an AI and machine learning tool that improves access to heart failure diagnostics in the community.
