We're excited to announce this year's Radiological Imaging and Intervention Symposium (RIISE) 2025!

Save the date for RiiSE25 on 21st June 2025 held at the Mazumdar-Shaw Advanced Research Centre (ARC Building) at the University of Glasgow.

This is an excellent opportunity to learn more about exciting radiological innovations and opportunity for hands-on experiences and networking.

Abstract submissions are now open!

All abstracts must be submitted on MedAll - delegates must be registered with the conference through BSIR and MedAll for abstracts to be considered.

Learning objectives

  1. Understand the latest trends, research, and developments within diagnostic and interventional radiology as presented during the morning plenary session.
  2. Analyse and critically discuss the presented posters over lunch, indicating an understanding of the presented research and ability to challenge or ask insightful questions.
  3. Develop a broader understanding of radiology training during the Q&A session, with the opportunity to ask any burning questions and participate in the discussions.
  4. Utilise the afternoon workshops to further refine and develop practical radiology skills.
  5. Reflect on the overall teaching activities and presentations of the day, developing insights into emerging practice and research areas.
  6. Opportunity to be awarded national-level radiology prizes.
