Summary
This webinar aims to advance understanding of the value of community engagement and involvement programmes in Low- and Middle-Income countries. First, we will hear from collaborators in India, South Africa and Cameroon about how their community engagement events are facilitating two way communication with communities to improve public health messaging about acquired brain and spine injuries. Next, we will review formal approaches to the involvement of communities within acquired brain and spine injury research from collaborators in Pakistan, Ethiopia and Columbia. Both Sessions will include a panel discussion.
This webinar is open to anyone interested in Acquired Brain and Spine Injury research and collaborating with communities to improve outcomes for neurosurgical patients and their families.
