Aims

This webinar will provide an overview of the common surgical physiology questions encountered in the MRCS Part A. We aim to cover high yield surgical physiology and core concepts.

Learning Objectives

By the end of this webinar, attendees will:

  • Have a good working knowledge of surgical physiology
  • Recap fundamental principles of human physiology relevant to surgical practice
  • Discuss how the body’s systems can become deranged in surgical diseases
  • Discuss how anaesthetists and surgeons manage the body’s systems peri and intra-operatively (basic principles of organ support).
