Welcome to the Scottish Universities Neurological Society's (SUNS) inaugural neurology conference! Held on Saturday 15th March 2025 in Old College at the University of Edinburgh this one day, in-person conference is your chance to explore your interest in neurosurgery, neurology, clinical neuroscience and its bridge with new research (including yours and your peers)!

This national conference has a focus on the advancements in clinical neuroscience, specifically exploring research, innovation and technology.

We are bringing to medical students and doctors across Scotland:

  • Talks by some of the top neurologists and neurosurgeons in the UK
  • Interactive workshops where you get a chance to get hands on with some new technology in the field with the likes of Stryker and BrainLab
  • A panel discussion where you get to ask these luminaries about the future direction of care for neurovascular patients
  • A chance to present your own research poster at our national conference and win some exclusive prizes!!

You will have a chance to listen to and meet Professor Cathie Ludlow, Professor Pankaj Sharma, Professor Paul Brennan, Mr Iain Macintrye, Mr Andreas Demetriades, and Dr Ravi Jampana at our conference, as well as getting hands on with performing craniotomies, navigating neuroanatomy with augmented reality, and exploring novel ways to rehabilitate patients with neurological disabilities.
