We are delighted to welcome registrations for the rendition of the South West Plastic Surgery Conference (SWPSC) for 2024. Our conference strives to propagate the mission of the historic South West Plastic Surgery Conferences: bringing Plastic Surgery insight to the South West.
We aim to encourage medical students to consider plastic surgery as a specialty by providing exposure and insight into the field. The SWPSC will dispel widely held misconceptions about plastic surgery and enlighten students to its breadth in subspecialties. Collectively, delegates will be provided with a comprehensive head-to-toe introduction to plastic surgery, from breast reconstruction to soft tissue sarcomas.
The morning will include talks by various plastic surgeons from across the South West. Delegates will learn about the fundamentals underpinning plastic surgery, and hear about plastic surgeons’ pathways, day-today work, and their trailblazing innovation.
There will be refreshment breaks and lunch will be provided.
The afternoon offers four hands-on surgical workshops: Tendon Repair, Skin Flaps, Suturing and CV Building.
