Summary

Join us for Torbay’s first medical undergraduate conference. Tailored exclusively for medical students, expect a stimulating afternoon of three interactive workshop stations: simulation, surgical skills practice and solving a medical mystery. Expect talks on the parts of training not often covered by the curriculum. There will also be oral and poster presentations to share the projects students have been involved with. Places are limited – register today.

Learning objectives

  1. Learn strategies for managing mental health as a medical student and doctor.

  2. Understand more about the reality of the Foundation Programme and how to apply.

  3. Acquire skills in managing medical emergencies in simulated settings.

  4. Enhance proficiency in suturing techniques.

  5. Develop problem-solving abilities through participation in the medical mystery station.

  6. Share and exhibit the contributions students make to research, quality improvement and medical care
