RCS England Council member Ian Kamaly-Asl will lead this session, providing you with an overview of the process of becoming a surgeon and giving you an insight into the different opportunities available. • Danielle Joyce, former trainee representative and F2 in thoracic surgery. She will discuss what she wishes she had known before becoming a surgeon.
• Lara Manley, Vice-President of ASiT and Vice Chair of ATDC, will focus on what a day in life during surgical training looks like.
• Bindy Sahota, Consultant ENT/Head and Neck Surgeon and Professor of H&N Cancer at the University of Derby, will highlight opportunities to enhance your portfolio through research.

Following the presentations, you will get answers to any questions you may have in the Q&A session.
