Description

Subcuticular means beneath the skin surface so these sutures should not be seen from the outside. With good technique they can be used to provide a good aesthetic closure in wound edges which are well approximated such as those created by the surgeon.

Session outline:

  • Brief presentation about the sutures and knots, their uses, and equipment needed.
  • Live demonstration
  • Practise and feedback
