Tutorial 1 of 8.

This online session will provide a deep dive into the functional anatomy and biomechanics of the spine. This will include teaching on vertebral form-to-function, interactive SBA's and polls, as well as case based discussions on common hospital presentations.

Learning objectives

To understand the basic anatomy of the cervical, thoracic and lumbar vertebrae
To appreciate how the relevant anatomy links to the function of the various spinal segments
To recognise common presentations for vertebral pathology
To feel confident eliciting relevant information from a patient using the SOCRATES pneumonic
