1. Understand the anatomy and physiology of the hip joint and the factors that contribute to hip injury or deterioration requiring surgery. 2. Assess various clinical presentations, radiological findings, and patient histories to identify cases that may require revision hip surgery. 3. Learn about the latest surgical and non-surgical techniques used in hip revision, and recognize when each one is appropriate. 4. Discuss the multidisciplinary team (MDT) approach in managing hip revision patients, from pre-operative planning to post-operative care and rehabilitation. 5. Engage in an interactive Mock MDT exercise to simulate real-world decision-making scenarios, with a focus on improving clinical judgement, collaborative problem solving and optimising patient outcomes.
