By the end of the session, participants will be able to demonstrate an understanding of the responsibilities and challenges involved in carrying the bleep after hours, including how to manage and prioritize calls effectively. 2. Participants will work through case studies to gain a better understanding of the real-world scenarios they might face while on-call. 3. Participants will learn strategies to handle stress and remain calm and focused during high-pressure situations that may emerge while being on-call after hours. 4. Participants will develop an understanding of best practices when it comes to communicating with other healthcare professionals and patients during after-hour on-call situations. 5. By the end of the session, participants will be able to devise a personal action plan to cope with the unpredictable nature of an after-hour call, demonstrating an improved level of preparedness for their F1 on-call shifts.
