Join us for the QUB Heat of the Annual Royal College of General practitioners (Republic of Ireland) Clinical Case Presentation Competition (CCPC).
Pairs of contestants will present Clinical Cases from their experience, alongside a relevant focused literature review
The judging panel consists of QUB Academics and GPs and will mark cases on the following criteria:
Clinical interest (2)
Relevance to daily general practice (2)
Outcome of focused literature review (2)
Ability to field questions and engage audience (2)
Presentation skills (2)
Successful candidates will follow this pathway to the Grand Final:
1 - Local winners will be invited to attend, present and compete at a Semifinal, and an All Island Final Competition at the ROI RCGP Spring Meeting - 15th Feb 2023.
- The Semifinals and All Island Competition will be moderated by a panel of 3, nominated by Faculty Provost.
- Each competitor at the National Competition will receive a letter of commendation from Faculty Provost.
2 - The winning entrants (2) will receive an engraved medal from the Faculty, presented at Faculty AGM.
- The winning entrants (2) will be invited and supported to write up their case for submission for publication.
