Learning objectives
- To understand the basic structure and anatomical aspects of the upper limb and how it appears on X-ray imaging.
- To identify and differentiate between various anatomical structures seen on a radiology image of the upper limb.
- To develop a strong foundation in understanding radiographical views such as Anteroposterior (AP), Posteroanterior (PA), Lateral, and Oblique views of the upper limb.
- To analyse and interpret common anatomical variations and pathologies seen on an upper limb radiograph.
- To apply this knowledge in clinical scenarios, improving confidence and proficiency in reviewing and discussing radiological imaging in a healthcare setting.
