1. To understand the principles and techniques of various GI imaging modalities including X-ray, CT, MRI, and endoscopic ultrasound. 2. To critically evaluate and discuss recent radiological research studies related to GI imaging and assess their relevance and applicability to clinical practice. 3. To develop skills in reading and interpreting GI images including recognising common diseases and conditions of the gastrointestinal system. 4. To appreciate the role of radiologists in the multidisciplinary management of patients with gastrointestinal disorders and their relationships with other healthcare professionals. 5. To understand the safety and ethical considerations related to the application of radiological techniques in GI imaging, including issues related to radiation exposure.
