Speaker Intro: Muhammad Hamza Shah (Final Year Medical Student - Queen's Belfast | Intercalating Student - University of Edinburgh)
Our speaker today is Hamza, President of the Bioethics & Medical Humanities Initiative. He has authored over 15 articles primarily focused on the domains of medical ethics, medical education, and global health in well-regarded journals like The Lancet, JAMA Oncology, Postgraduate Medical Journal & Medical Teacher. Hamza is also a recipient of the prestigious Akindolie Medical Scholarship for BAME medical students and has actively engaged with several medical education and WP organizations like UKMSA, NSTS, In2MedSchool & WPMN. He previously served as President of the QUB Medical Ethics Society and is currently working towards a forthcoming book that aims to provide medical students with a solid foundation in medical ethics.
