The Applying for Surgical Training webinar series aims to guide attendees through the application process for the surgical training. Over the course of 7 webinars we will cover different aspects of the surgical portfolio from audits to teaching and getting theatre experience, as well as postgraduate exams and interviews. This series is aimed at foundation doctors and senior medical students.
This session will focus on getting involved in research in the early years of your career and the role this plays in applying for surgical training. We will also touch on pursuing further academic opportunities as a surgical trainee, such as undertaking a PhD.
