The Prescribing Safety Assessment (PSA) is an online assessment to demonstrate competencies in safe and effective use of medicines. The PSA exam is important to pass in order to allow a Foundation Doctor to prescribe.

This session aims to introduce the PSA examination, and practice a few questions in an interactive manner. The practice sessions will be held in a couple of session to build participant's confidence in answering PSA questions.

The speakers of this PSA teaching are Noor Faridah and Shairashree Kumaran, graduates of Newcastle University, and Clifford Sia, a graduate of Cambridge University. We are both currently Foundation Year 1 doctors in Nottingham University Hospitals.

We understand that limited experience in prescribing in real clinical setting can make answering the questions in a timely manner challenging. Therefore, we are here to help you.
