This teaching session for medical professionals will explore strategies for ensuring wellbeing in the transition to the Foundation Year 1 (FY1) role. Participants will learn how to identify common concerns among new FY1s, discuss methods for addressing and managing these issues, and develop personal plans to foster and maintain mental and physical wellbeing during this educational transition. Join us to share your experience and gain the insight of others!
Learning objectives

To familiarise medical students with self-care strategies to maintain their own physical and mental health while working as an FY1.
