1. To understand and describe the common causes and risk factors of falls in the patient population, particularly in relation to certain medications. 2. To identify and analyze the medications most commonly associated with an increased risk of falls in patients. 3. To gain a comprehensive understanding of the various prevention strategies with a focus on medication management to reduce falls risk. 4. To develop the ability to critically evaluate patient medication regimes, considering adjustments or alternatives to limit the risk of falls where necessary. 5. To improve competence in managing, mitigating, and communicating the risk of medication-related falls to patients, their families, and multidisciplinary health care team members.
