Our next internal medicine specialty is rheumatology; our first talk will be given by Janani Viswanathan, a final year medical student at Queen's University Belfast, during which she will cover rheumatological conditions that commonly arise in the UKMLA including osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, monoarthritis and osteoporosis. The case-led session should provide students with an opportunity to test and expand on their knowledge.
