Our next internal medicine specialty is gastroenterology / hepatology ; our first talk will be given by Honor Carrick-Buchanan, a third year medical student at Queen's University Belfast, during which she will cover GI conditions that commonly arise in the UKMLA including inflammatory bowel disease, coeliac disease, peptic ulcer disease, GORD and malignancy. The case-led session should provide students with an opportunity to test and expand on their knowledge.
