Branching out from internal medicine specialties, we are expanding our lecture series to cover a range of other specialties which are assessed in the UKMLA. The next of these talks is given by Naomi Mandal, one of our final year medical student's here at Queen's University Belfast, where she will give an in depth overview of emergency medicine. She will focus on the presentation and management of common medical emergencies that come up in OSCEs (and in A&E). The case-led session should provide students with an opportunity to test and expand on their knowledge.
