Presenting a case report of the London Bridge Major Incident attended with the PRU (Physician Response Unit) part the London Ambulance service during his intercalation year on the 29th November 2019. Connor will be discussing the involvement of his crew and the medical response of the terror attack.

Bill will be joining us for an interactive Q&A, discussing any questions that you might have about operating during major incidents. Bill has countless hours both on scene as a senior paramedic with HEMS as well as on dispatch for the London Air Ambulance. Bill was on the dispatch during the 2017 London Bridge attack and dispatched 5 LAS teams to treat 48 injured at Borough market. He is looking forward to your questions so have some prepared!

Graham has many years’ experience with NARU and will present some of the ways in which the whole of the UK’s ambulance service stays effectively trained and fully prepared to provide the best front-line healthcare during the most complex incidents e.g., hazardous situations & mass casualty events. Will also talk about how services such a HART respond to casualties of major incidents and how optimal prehospital care is delivered across all emergency’s services.
