The annual In2MedSchool Mentee summer school for 2023 consists of a series of events for medical school applications to gain work experience and skills to gain an insight into Medicine.

The Patient Consultation & Communication skills workshop will give students the opportunity to build their communication skills through experiencing taking histories from patients and building rapport.

All students will get to learn about the consultation structure and the core aspects of good communication skills needed when speaking to patients. Each student will also practice taking a history from a simulated patient and will receive feedback.
