1. To understand the key components of a neurological examination in paediatric patients and the factors that differentiate it from adult neurology. 2. To identify common neurological conditions prevalent in paediatrics, their symptoms, pathophysiology and optimal treatment approaches. 3. To gain knowledge about interpreting diagnostic procedures and tests in pediatric neurology, including neuroimaging and genetic testing. 4. To develop the skills needed to carry out a comprehensive clinical assessment based primarily on a detailed case history and a neurologic, cognitive, and behavioral examination. 5. To understand and effectively communicate complex neurologic diagnoses in a child-friendly manner to young patients and their families, considering ethical and psychosocial concerns.
