1. Understand the fundamental principles of orthopaedics including the anatomy, physiology and pathology of musculoskeletal system. 2. Develop the ability to diagnose and manage common orthopaedic conditions and injuries. 3. Gain proficiency in interpreting orthopaedic diagnostic tests, including X-rays, MRIs and CT scans. 4. Learn and practice essential orthopaedic procedures and techniques, such as joint aspiration, joint injections, casting and splinting. 5. Recognize and manage complications associated with orthopaedic surgery, understanding when to refer patients to specialists for further care.
