Learning objectives

By the end of this teaching series, participants should be able to understand and explain detailed anatomy of the lower body, upper body and paediatric orthopaedics.

Participants will enhance their knowledge on various pathology conditions such as Perthes, slipped upper femoral epiphysis, developmental dysplasia of the hip, osteosarcoma, and more as part of the Orthopaediatrics session.

By the conclusion of the Upper Body Pathology and Lower Body Pathology sessions, learners will be capable of identifying, diagnosing and understanding the management for various conditions including fractures, shoulder pathologies, olecranon and gout to name a few.

By the end of the course, learners should be able to discuss how various orthopaedic conditions present in clinical practice, interpreting relevant investigations, and identifying appropriate treatment options.
