1. To understand the key clinical scenarios that are likely to be encountered during the Ophthalmology ST1 interviews, and be able to confidently respond to them. 2. To develop a comprehensive understanding of conditions with either sight or life threatening complications, and how to appropriately address them in a clinical setting. 3. To increase awareness and understanding of conditions with significant systemic involvement that may be presented during the ST1 interviews. 4. To improve interview skills and techniques for the unique Viva style format, and adapt them for a virtual format. 5. To identify areas for further independent study and provide a framework for preparing for the 2024 Ophthalmology ST1 interviews.
