Description

Welcome to our Radiology Masterclass series for medical school exams.

We will be covering key medical school skills covering how to interpret scans and when to request them. This is relevant to all clinical years of medical school.

This will be delivered over 5 sessions:

Chest XR 1 24/08/24
Abdominal XR 10/09/24
Bone XR 16/09/24
CT, MRI and USS 1 4/10/24
CT, MRI and USS 2 12/10/24

Summary

During this session we will cover

CXR interpretation structure - vital for OSCE's
Identifying common pathologies seen on CXR's

The cases we will discuss include but are not limited to: -Pneumothorax -Inhaled foreign body -Pulmonary oedema -Pneumoperitoneum -Malignancy -Nasogastric-tube positioning -Fractures -CXR whiteout and causes -TB -COVID Pneumonitis

This will be an interactive event with plenty of practice opportunity.
