1. By the end of this session, participants will have a comprehensive understanding of the physiology related to the menstrual cycle and be able to explain the hormonal changes and their impact on reproductive health. 2. Participants will be able to recognise, diagnose, and plan appropriate treatment strategies for dysfunctional endometrial bleeding conditions such as menorrhagia and amenorrhoea (primary and secondary). 3. Participants will be able to identify signs and symptoms associated with premature ovarian insufficiency, have an understanding of the causes and make appropriate referrals or suggest treatments. 4. Participants will gain knowledge on the physical and hormonal changes that occur during menopause, understand the epidemiology, and be able to advise on suitable treatments, including Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT). 5. Participants will be familiar with various contraceptive methods, their merits and demerits, effectiveness, and potential side-effects, enabling them to offer evidence-informed advice to patients.
