NSATS are delighted to announce our first session of the series - Session 1: Thorax & Cardiothoracic Surgery on Wednesday 5th October 2022, 6-8pm.
PART 1: PEER-ASSISTED TEACHING - Thorax Anatomy teaching led by senior medical students (intercalated in BSc Clinical Anatomy) š
PART 2: SURGICAL APPLICATION - Surgical teaching led by an expert surgeon taking you through the surgical anatomy of common surgical procedures in Cardiothoracic Surgery.
Introducing your Expert Surgeon for the evening: Mr Ahmed Oliemy šš
Mr Ahmed Oliemy is a Consultant Cardiothoracic Surgeon at the Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust. Having sub-specialised in the field of thoracic surgery, Mr Oliemy has specialist surgical interests in: video and robotic assisted thoracic surgery, surgical treatment of lung cancers, airway interventions and chest wall surgery!!
