NSATS are delighted to announce the next session of the series - Session 4: ENT & Neck and ENT Surgery on Wednesday 26th October 2022, 6-8pm 👂👃👄👤

📣 NSATS SPECIAL - This session is unique to all other NSATS sessions which will be split into 3 Parts covering: Anatomy, Radiology & Surgery! 👀🥳

PART 1: PEER-ASSISTED TEACHING - ENT & Neck anatomy teaching led by senior medical students

PART 2: RADIOLOGICAL APPLICATION (NSATS SPECIAL) - Radiological teaching led by an expert radiologist taking you through the fundamentals of interpreting radiological images within ENT Surgery.

PART 3: SURGICAL APPLICATION - Surgical teaching led by an expert surgeon taking you through the surgical anatomy of common surgical procedures in ENT Surgery.

Introducing our EXPERTS for the evening: Ms Somiah Siddiq & Dr Abhishek Mahajan 😍💉

Ms Somiah Siddiq is a Consultant Head and Neck Surgeon at University Hospitals Birmingham. She also serves as Editor in Chief of an e-learning platform for ENT UK, Honorary Senior Lecturer for Aston University Medical School, and EDI (Equity, Diversity and Inclusion) Lead for the British Association of Head and Neck Oncologists (BAHNO) council. Her specialist interests are in the management of Head and Neck & Thyroid malignancy and she established the UHB Head and Neck Robotic programme in June 2019.

Dr Abhishek Mahajan is a Consultant Radiologist at The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre NHS Foundation Trust in Liverpool. After finishing his fellowship in Cancer Imaging at Asia’s leading cancer hospital, he served as Professor of Radiology at the Tata Memorial Centre, Mumbai. Dr Mahajan completed his Masters in Translational Cancer Medicine from King’s College London in 2013 and has since authored over 250 publications!
