NSATS are delighted to announce the next session of the series - Session 14: Renal Anatomy & Urology on Wednesday 1st February 2023, 6-8pm π
PART 1: PEER-ASSISTED TEACHING - Renal anatomy teaching led by medical students (intercalated in BSc Clinical Anatomy) π
PART 2: SURGICAL APPLICATION - Surgical teaching led by an expert surgeon taking you through the surgical anatomy of common procedures in Urology.
Introducing your Expert Surgeon for the evening: Mr Piyush Sarmah π
Mr Piyush Sarmah is an ST7 in Urology in Health Education England West Midlands, currently working in the University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust. He is a Birmingham alumnus, having served as an ex-President of Birmingham SurgSoc whilst an undergraduate, and is passionate about teaching medical students having taught as a Clinical Teaching Fellow at Birmingham Heartlands Hospital. His current role is as Chairman of Students For Urology UK, an organisation founded by medical students with the aim of promoting Urology to undergraduates.
