NSATS are delighted to announce the FINAL NSATS SESSION of the series - Session 15: Pelvis & Obstetrics and Gynaecology on Wednesday 8th February 2023, 6-8pm 😍
PART 1: PEER-ASSISTED TEACHING - Pelvis anatomy teaching led by junior doctors and medical students (intercalated in BSc Clinical Anatomy) 😍
PART 2: SURGICAL APPLICATION - Surgical teaching led by an expert surgeon taking you through the surgical anatomy of common procedures in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
Introducing your Expert Surgeon for the evening: Mr Ahmed Elnaggar 😍
Mr Elnaggar is a Consultant Obstetrician Gynaecologist at University Hospitals of Derby & Burton with special interest in advanced minimal access surgery and reproductive medicine. He graduated from Ain Shams university (Cairo, Egypt), finished his residency program and MD degree in Obstetrics Gynaecology and was subsequently appointed as a lecturer and then an Associate professor.
Mr Elnaggar Completed his Obstetrics Gynaecology training in UK in the South West Deanery and was awarded an academic clinical fellowship of urogynaecology at university of Plymouth.
He completed a fellowship program in “Advanced Laparoscopic surgery for Benign Gynecological Disorders” at Cornwall Endometriosis Centre and is a certified coloscopist and trainer at BSCCP.
Mr Elnaggar is interested in the field of medical education and was awarded a Postgraduate diploma in Medical Education form University of Dundee. He is currently the lead for reproductive medicine health block and an OSCE examiner for year 4 medical student at Leicester university at QHB. Additionally, he authored and published various clinical articles in peer reviewed journals.
