Finish with The Ronnie Patel Trainee Prize Competition Prize-giving , Debate Voting Results and Close

Dr Ronak ‘Ronnie’ Patel was a Specialty Trainee in our Anaesthetic Department. He went through Core Anaesthetic training at the Mid-Essex Hospital in Chelmsford and was appointed to the training scheme in the East of England Anglia School of Anaesthesia, joining our department in Norwich in February 2015.

Tragically, after a weekend of nights on call in the Critical Care Unit, he was involved in a fatal road traffic accident on Monday August 3rd, 2015 after just 6 months in our department.

He will always be remembered as a great colleague and trainee, for his lovely smile, his clinical skill and knowledge, team working, and being helpful.

The trainee competition for the Ronak ‘Ronnie’ Patel prize is an annual event at the Norwich Anaesthesia Update, in his memory.
