Description

This course is a follow-up to the Understanding NHS Health Checks full study day focusing on the clinical aspects of NHS Health Checks, the so what next bit. The topics include AF, blood pressure, cholesterol, CKD and familial hypercholesterolemia. Diabetes is not included in this session.

  • Know the NHS Health Check filters
  • State how an NHS Health Check should be conducted
  • For: AF, BP, Chol, CKD, and FH
  • Know who is most at risk
  • Know the signs & symptoms
  • Describe the pathophysiology, detection and diagnosis
  • Understand Initial management
  • The course is open to anyone who is involved in the delivery of NHS Health Checks and attendees should have attended training previously before attending the refresher, which is recommended yearly

The cost of this course is £125 plus VAT (£150 with VAT added)
