Welcome to ICSM Neurosurgical societies inaugural event, Neurosurgical emergencies!

In this session we will cover cranial emergencies, including traumatic brain injury much more!

We are super excited to have Professor Mark Wilson as first speaker:

Professor Mark Wilson PhD MBBChir FIMC FRCS (SN) OBE, is a neurosurgical consultant and pre-hospital care specialist working in the Imperial NHS trust in the Major Trauma Centre at St Mary’s Hospital and as part of the Kent, Surrey & Sussex Air Ambulance Trust. Professor Wilson’s principle areas of academic interest lie in traumatic brain injury, hypoxic brain injury and pre-hospital medicine. He is well established in these field, lecturing regularly on these topics, and holding the position of professor of practice of brain injury at Imperial College; along with being honorary professor (the Gibson Chair) of pre-hospital care at the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh. Professor Wilson further co-founded GoodSAM.org in order to improve early pre-hospital management.
