To commence this semester, we are excited to announce the 4th installment of the "So You Want to be a Neurosurgeon" Webinar Series: Spine Surgery on the 26th of January at 6 pm!

We will be joined by Mr Andreas Demetriades, Spinal Neurosurgeon working at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh, who has kindly offered to talk about:

  1. The most common pathologies and operations ("bread and butter" work)
  2. Positive and challenging aspects of being a Spine Surgeon
  3. Common myths, stereotypes, and misconceptions, as well as the realities
  4. Difference between the work of Orthopaedic and Neurological Spine Surgeon
  5. Work-life balance

This one is not to be missed, especially for those of you considering a career in Neurosurgery and its subspecialties!
